The Student AC Transit EasyPass is issued to all eligible undergraduate and graduate UC Berkeley students in tandem with issuance of their Cal 1 Card. Eligibility criteria are determined by the Office of the Registrar. Questions may be directed to Cal Student Central.

When Students Get Their Student AC Transit EasyPass
- Undergraduate students: Incoming undergraduate students will receive their Student AC Transit EasyPass at the same time they receive their Cal 1 Card, when moving into their residence hall or during GBO check-in (if not living in the residence halls).
- Graduate students: Incoming graduate students will receive their Student AC Transit EasyPass (if eligible) at the same time they receive their Cal 1 Card, when attending your respective orientation / in-person welcome event. Otherwise, you will be eligible for card issuance at the Cal 1 Card office on or after the first Monday in August 1. (Be advised that your student privileges may be limited until the formal start date of the term, as listed in the academic calendar.)
- Visiting summer sessions students: Incoming visiting summer sessions students will receive their Student AC Transit EasyPass at the same time they receive their Cal 1 Card, on or after their respective session start date when moving into their residence hall or during summer sessions card distribution check-in events (if not living in the residence halls).
- Concurrent enrollment UC Berkeley extension students: Incoming eligible extension students will receive their Student AC Transit EasyPass at the same time they receive their Cal 1 Card, during the extension card distribution check-in events.
Lost or Stolen Student AC Transit EasyPass Cards
Replacements for lost or stolen Student AC Transit EasyPass cards are issued at Parking and Transportation.

Taking custody of the Student AC Transit EasyPass card also constitutes acceptance of the corresponding Clipper Cardholder License Agreement and Privacy Policy.
