We believe that prospective off-campus merchants benefit most from a clear understanding of the Cal 1 Card program and the benefits that you may expect to receive. Our program and the individuals that we serve on the UC Berkeley campus require that we be very clear about the quality and integrity of our services and our priorities. We believe that Cal 1 Card provides a unique opportunity to merchants to reach Cal Students, Faculty & Staff with their quality services and products.

- An edge in providing customer convenience: With more and more merchants participating, the Cal 1 Card is quickly becoming a favorite way for students to pay for meals, goods, and services. This convenient and secure payment system will keep customers coming back to your business.
- Increased marketing reach: Our website, student mailings, and ads around campus will all include your business as a participating merchant. We also provide you with in-store signs to advertise your participation.
- Access to campus activities and festivals: When we're involved in campus events, we work with merchants to help increase their presence.
- Keeping students informed: We maintain an opt-in mailing list to keep card users informed about news and special offerings by our merchants.
